Company History Basler was established by Fritz and Elizabeth Basler in Berlin, 1936. The Basler HQ relocated to Goldbach, near Aschaffenburg, in 1965 where it remains today. Basler’s strengths are based on the promotion of its unmistakable brand identity, careful brand management, a consistency of quality, a sound distribution policy and clear pricing based on the principles of strong marketing. The Basler approach has a proven track record with more than 800 German and 1200 international retailers who value the label’s retail strengths, which have contributed to the enormous success and growth of the company. Basler was acquired by Hucke AG in 1996 and has since secured a leading position among German clothing manufacturers as well as world markets.
